Dr Tamara MacIntyre MSc DC DNM AFMCP

Dr. Tamara MacIntyre is a Co-Founder of The Prana Group. Dr. Tamara received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, the founding College of the profession. She possesses a Master's Degree in Neuroscience from Carleton University where she graduated with honours.

While at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Tamara was one of only ten students to receive a scholarship into the Vogt Leadership Society, one of the most prestigious leadership programs at Palmer College. Dr. Tamara received two of the highest awards a Palmer College graduate can obtain – The Most Outstanding Graduate and the Virgil V. Strang Award for her excellence in the philosophy of Chiropractic.

Dr. Tamara views herself as a facilitator of your healing process. While many professionals are concerned with changing the environment to suit a weakened body, she focuses on strengthening the body to suit the environment. She works with her practice members to help them identify factors that are impacting their health expression and gives tools and progressive action steps to reach their goals so that they may truly understand the control they have over how they feel on a daily basis.

While Dr. Tamara works with people of all ages and designs, she works with a significant number of children and pregnant moms in her practice. Her focus lies in educating families about natural health care and alternative therapies.

Dr. Tamara's commitment to service and education has pervaded every facet of her practice as an "alternative" and holistic health care provider. She sees her practice members as having unlimited potential and her role in their healing process is to tap into that potential, allowing them to express a greater, fuller life. Her mission is to empower you with a greater understanding of health, the human body and its expression.
